Launched during the summer 1962, the magazine Salut les copains / SLC allows the pop generation to federate. Salut les copains / SLC is created by Frank Ténot and Daniel Filipacchi (organizers of the emission éponyme on Europe 1, since 1959).

Salut les copains / SLC was then resold, and there exists still today, but under the Salut title, and with a different formula.
